In order to carry out all projects that our club is involved with throughout the year, each member is asked to join one or more committees.

Child Services Committee
Sweeney, Geoff
To provide financial assistance to youth organizations within the Prescott area. Sponsored events should be focused on activities that benefit youth groups with an emphasis on programs that have a goal of being "self-sustaining" so that through their longevity they will help the greatest number of youth in our community.
Community Services Committee
Alderson, Matt
To provide financial assistance to projects and organizations within the Prescott area which effects the widest possible spectrum of ages and socioeconomic groups The overriding objective is to make an impact on the community as a whole. Our first priority is to meet the most essential life needs of individuals. Our second priority is to fund requests which enrich our community and the quality of life where we live.
Family Services Committee
Geise, Jim
To respond to requests for financial help by individual families or appropriate agencies or groups working with families in the Prescott communities in need of special assistance. Such requests may include family needs such as childcare, non-youth education, transportation, car repair, sustenance or medical needs.
Major Emphasis
Huck, Bob
The Major Emphasis Committee is committed to the proactive identification, evaluation, development, and completion of projects which are large projects, capital in nature, benefits the youth of our communities, are non-recurring items, broad based, provides recognition for Kiwanis in the community, and provides the "best bang for the buck".
Scholarship Committee
Gowen, Rose
The mission of the Kiwanis Club of Prescott's Scholarship Committee is to develop and apply scholarship evaluation criteria to identify and reward those Prescott-area students whose activities and academic scholarship reflect community involvement, work ethic, leadership skills and commitment to learning. Committee Objective: To identify and support area students in attaining vocational experience and scholarship knowledge to aid them in building a rewarding future and strengthening our community.
